Down with the Dow

As summer has gone on the Dow market has remained mostly neutral. However, this Friday it has plummeted a big 400 points. This marks one of the biggest drops of the summer. Many people would view this as a big scare but professionals say that investors shouldn't have much to worry about. The majority of the stocks that fell were ones such as the value of gold, oil merchandisers, and U.S. bonds. Although, when looking at the major companies around the United States, none of them reported any major loses on yearly operations. This is good for investors who have put money into big name companies around the nation. With blue chip stocks booming this summer, our economy sits above China's, Japan's, and Europe's. Now is not the time to doubt the market and pull money, but only a good time to invest because businesses have been sitting well.
