Audi takes another step forward with a new line of manufacturing inside of China. China's largest automobile distribution company, SAIC Motor Corporation, has made a deal to help Audi manufacture and sell their cars within China. One regulation in China that foreign companies must follow is in order to manufacture cars, they have to team up with a domestic manufacture already there. Therefore, with the new deal that Audi just signed, sales for the company hope to increase greatly. In the eyes of Audi, this bigger market will help them become a strong, top luxury car competitor. Audi's have been used in China since the 1980's; one big use to get the name out was with the production of the Chinese Presidential Limousine. From this point on, Audi was a leading name in China. They aim to only keep that status along with going far above and beyond.
