Smart Driver

Currently, GM is working on implementing a super cruise feature in some of the new 2017 models. This will entirely make the driving experience safer in a few ways. If you are coming up on something too quick the car will automatically break for you. If the driver is unresponsive or loses control of the vehicle, the car will make the safest maneuvers while slowing down as possible. However, other car companies such as Tesla have experimented with such technology. One incident involved a fatal car crash with the back of a farm trailer. Gm is determined they will not release the product until all the safety flaws are worked out. The new Cadillac’s will be the first models to be released with the new, safe, super technology. If this technology can prove itself in society as a safe and useful product, General Motors can expect more business from the general public.
